Frequently Asked Questions
Simply put—we’re not just running down to HomeGoods to throw some candles in these boxes. Instead, we're curating custom-made Judaica and bookish merchandise only available through Jewish Joy, LLC. These items have taken months of work to develop, sample, and source. Our price point reflects the difficulty that comes with creating and sourcing product for the Jewish community.
In addition, when we started Jewish Joy, one of our goals was to support small Jewish businesses. To do that we need to pay Jewish artisans fairly for their work. Finally, we just like nice things... we weren’t going to create a box that we wouldn’t want to receive ourselves! Every item in The Jewish Joy Box is something we wanted to own.
We are hopeful that as we grow as a business and can support the creation of more boxes alongside hiring staff, the price point will drop. We are also looking into ways where people can donate boxes and books to someone who can’t afford it. Much like Jewish Joy, our goal is to be as accessible as possible to our community.

Mazel tov on finishing your book! We are always looking for up and coming Jewish books and currently have a nomination process for choosing books in 2025. Right now, our focus is on promoting frontlist Jewish romance novels. However, all Jewish books are welcome, including Jewish women’s fiction and all Jewish genre fiction, provided it has a happy ending!
We are also happy to consider indie books in addition to traditionally published novels. If you feel your work would be a great fit for us, send an email with a query letter to submissions@jewish-joy.com. Keep in mind that to be considered for The Jewish Joy Book Club, you will need to provide a PDF/E-copy in addition to a physical copy of your book.
We love media requests! Send us an email at info@jewish-joy.com and someone will get back to you as soon as possible.
